At its heart, the I Ching is telling the Elemental Story of Returning to the Unity and Balance of the Tao. It is not a system to be understood solely with the mind, but lived fully through the human experience. Relaxing deeply into the current of natural wisdom, the Book of Changes describes the eternal dance of cycles occurring in our life. For thousands of years sages and mystics have used the binary code of this system to unlock deeper layers of profound wisdom. The Gene Keys Transmission breathes life into this ancient text, inviting each of us into a “Contemporary I Ching” for our generation.
The I Ching is an intricate expression of the fundamental patterns of the universe, based on the principles of yin (feminine) and yang (masculine) energy. This binary pattern forms 8 Elemental Trigrams, the Ba Gua. An Elemental Trigram expresses a specific primary energy. A Hexagram is formed by combining two elemental trigrams, thus revealing the 64 possible combinations of yin and yang. Each Hexagram is a pictographic binary expression of two elements interacting with one another, the basis of all the phenomena of life.
“When used over time, the correct use of the I Ching is a spiritual path in itself. It will guide you to listen to your innate, silent, intuitive wisdom – your ‘Yi’ (the Water Eye) above and beyond your human desires and longings – your ‘Hsin’ (the Fire Eye). Unfortunately, our modern global lifestyle is so strongly developed around the Fire Eye, that even the I Ching has now mostly become another toy for that restless longing inside us. We no longer realise the level of commitment that the I Ching requires of its students. Like most sacred and magical texts, it has now been taken far away from its original context, and its true secrets lie for the most part lost to modern humans.
This is where the Gene Keys come into play. The Gene Keys are a contemporary adaptation of the I Ching and the Golden Path provides a structured and disciplined means of contemplation on the teachings themselves. The Golden Path allows you to take the Gene Keys deeply into your daily life. It is designed to be contemplated over a period of time so that you can absorb its insights and experience its transformational power.
The advantage of this form is that you do not have to change very much externally in your life. You adjust the teachings to your daily rhythms, rather than the other way around. As your contemplation deepens over time, the living wisdom within you begins to awaken at a new level, leading to unexpected changes and new vistas opening up before you. This is a process referred to as Self Illumination.”
The Golden Path is a master genetic sequence that allows you to contemplate the Gene Keys in a personalized way, with specific Gene Keys relating to certain areas of your life.
The Golden Path is a journey of Self-Illumination. It is a path of soul, in which your daily living becomes your greatest muse. It is a path of enrichment, which at the same time trains a fierce eye upon the way you are living. It asks you to contemplate some profound and sometimes painful questions. As you tread the Golden Path, you will take a deep dive into three primary questions:
1. What is your purpose in life?
2. How fulfilling are your relationships?
3. How integrated are you into your community?
I am personally currently and have been expressively journeying deep into the mystery of my Pearl Sequence and the Gene Key within specifically being the 3rd I Ching and in my hologenetic Gene Key profile I bring out Line 2 of Recognition
I Ching 3 Innocence, Innovation and Chaos. Line 2
This I Ching in general represents Judgment and James Dekorne goes into depth of describing it as Judgement and that Under the conditions of Difficulty it is best to mark time while seeking assistance.
The superior man uses careful analysis to separate order from confusion.
Wilhelm’s title for this hexagram is Difficulty at the Beginning. I prefer Difficulty, because it is a situation encountered at any phase of the Work, not just the beginning.
Difficulty is experienced because confusion and multiplicity prevail during the initial phase of any creative activity -- thoughts and feelings proliferate and threaten to overwhelm the mind with infinite complexity. The only way to proceed under such circumstances is to carefully sort out the components of the situation and arrange them in categories and in order of importance. To "sort the threads of the warp and woof" is to weave a tangled mess into a tapestry.
The Orderly Sequence of the Hexagrams gives us an image of what takes place under the hexagram of Difficulty:
When there were Heaven and Earth, then afterwards all things were produced. What fills up the space between Heaven and Earth are those individual things. Hence the Dynamic and Magnetic are followed by Difficulty. Difficulty means filling up.
"Filling up," is rendered as "fullness" in some translations. This is the exact meaning of the gnostic term: "Pleroma," or "Fullness" which Jung correlates with the Collective Unconscious or Objective Psyche. These are interior dimensions from which emanate the archetypal energies which we experience as instinctual drives and emotional complexes. This is the "hyperspace" from which the Self, via the oracle, responds to our queries and directs the Work.
Thus we see that the third hexagram, following the creation of the cosmic pair of opposites in the first two figures, represents a dialectical progression. Lao Tse, who wrote the Tao Te Ching some six-hundred years after the I Ching was committed to writing, describes this unfolding process:
Out of Tao, One is born;
Out of One, Two;
Out of Two, Three;
Out of Three, the created universe.
The created universe carries the yin at its back
and the yang in front;
Through the union of their pervading principles
it reaches harmony.
The identical idea is found in many traditions, giving it the status of an archetype within human consciousness. It is not necessary to be familiar with the technical terminology of Kabbalah to recognize that the same idea is being discussed in the following passage:
In Chokmah and Binah we have the archetypal Positive and Negative; the primordial Maleness and Femaleness, established while "countenance beheld not countenance" and manifestation was incipient ... It is between these two polarizing aspects of manifestation -- the Supernal Father and the Supernal Mother -- that the web of life is woven; souls going back and forth between them like a weaver's shuttle. In our individual lives, in our physiological rhythms, and in the history of the rise and fall of nations, we observe the same rhythmic periodicity.

There are some profound ideas in these images about the structure of human consciousness and the contents of the unconscious psyche. The basic idea is that of Emanation -- the creation of physical reality from a supreme principle in ordered hierarchies of increasing complexity. This concept is essential for a full understanding of the Work.
The involution of man was his descent from the sphere of the spirit, developing bodies of a mental, emotional and then physical nature until he manifested upon this planet. His evolution is to civilize this planet and to develop mastery of the physical, emotional and mental planes and relink himself in unity with God once more, thus completing the cycle. He came from God as an inexperienced Spark of Divine Fire and returns to Him, with all the experience of manifestation, as a Lord of Humanity.

In many systems of thought, the proliferation of forces is seen in sexual terms -- the cosmic parents produce entities in male and female pairs (gnostic syzygies), which in turn produce offspring. Hence, Confucius says: "Difficulty is experienced as Heaven and Earth begin their intercourse." That this has an explicit sexual connotation is confirmed by McClatchie: "The figure of Difficulty represents the hard and the soft beginning to have sexual intercourse, and bringing forth with suffering." Thus we see that the correct and incorrect correlation ("intercourse") of dynamic (male) and magnetic (female) lines in anyI Ching hexagram symbolizes the favorable (life-enhancing) or unfavorable (life-negating) combinations of thought and feeling within the psyche.
Another source i was reading on by the Divination Foundation Interpretates Line 2 as the following
When facing obstacles or difficulties, sometimes there is a sudden turn of events. For instance, people who had seemed useless, or even negative, can turn out to be benefactors. Others who you immediately trusted can turn out to be rogues. Even in the case of what appears to be a new benefactor or ally, be careful not to rush into a match -- be it a serious relationship or some other kind of partnership.
It is critical to wait for the right moment, even if this means being patient for a long time before you find the partner you want. Although you enthusiastically look forward to movement, beware of wrong solutions that may appeal to you now, ones that could bring restrictive obligations. For now, remain uncommitted. In moving beyond obstacles, keep a high priority on maintaining your autonomy.

Just as a seedling must crack open and push through soil and rocks to reach its source of solar nourishment, all new endeavors encounter obstacles in the beginning stages. The time calls for persevering into regeneration. Obstacles refine our sincerity about what we are doing, and hone our inner vision. The arrangement of the I Ching generally unfolds where each hexagram is viewed to be the cause or response of the preceding one. Yet Chun is the result of two hexagrams: The Creative and the Receptive interacting. Therefore Chun embodies how opposite yet powerful energies give birth to something new. This hexagram has a unique message where an unavoidable but difficult encounter must come together such as in marriage. Because the situation has never gone before, it lacks the clarity that comes from experience, yet how refreshing! It embodies the sense that the situation is meant to be and its opposing qualities are what brought it to life in the first place. Chun can appear when a commitment is being considered and the act of considering it is what changed an Easy attraction into something Difficult. Like nature which would remain stagnant without necessary friction, Chun embodies perfectly how to embrace conflict as the driving force of evolution. Often we want to cast blame when we fail, but we always take responsibility for our success. To succeed, you must recognize how Tao improves deficiencies by sharpening them into skills. Life has always been committed to your success but going it alone is not an option here because the dynamic of interdependency is central to Chun. Learn to see the ‘teacher’ in those who challenge you. Eliminate defenses and preconceptions so you can be lifted to a higher level. The hidden influence describes the Splitting Apart of a past way of thinking, while the Cauldron refines and boils down your capabilities. Connect with your passion and purpose and persevere until you find a way to manifest your dream. In that regard, Chun embodies the dream coming into existence. The path ahead is new and promises wonderful transformational learning regardless of the outcome.
I learned that this I Ching in specific to Astrology correlates to Aries (Cardinal Fire) and Taurus (Fixed Earth) in which a lot of my healing revolves around these two primary zodiacs by relation to a woman named Heather (old best friend) being a Taurus and my ex husband Ben being an Aries (and my son Elijah barely on the cusp of this sign also).
I can see just how deep my soul needed to go for me to come into the mastery I have a heart attraction to and awakening the gifts of such in Versatility by honoring the relationships such as I have already shared with such Zodiac signs to prepare me to love and know myself even more profoundly then i could ever imagined without their influence (positive and negative) in my lifetime...this is where the Gene Key I Ching of 16.4 gets sparked from my Activation sequence and Purpose of BEING the 10th Gene key... Line 5 goes into detail of saying I will do this through the power of my voice. My challenge however will be self obsession but i honestly never really had much of that... I am learning just to have confidence and focus on and believe in the beautiful Divinity I AM beyond this body that all together shows me the gift of Naturalness I bring to the world.
All in all it is going to become my LIFES WORK to be a Alchemist and DANCER (line 2 of 46th I Ching) to bring about Ecstasy in our lives... offer the gift of Delight and this will teach us profoundly about the challenge and shadow of Seriousness. I am here for my own evolution and service to Universal love (25.2- Passion and relationships). I focus on this so I can transcend into my heart sequence of Boundlessness offering the gift of Adventure but it personally is challenging me with Hunger (Finding the perfect superfood of love) and focusing me upon mentoring.
This will bring forth my Radiance... I have a gift of Magnetism but my challenge can be a sence of Dullness This is the 15th I Ching and line 5 is where i will leave my IMPACT to elevate others and 'teach' them of MY and our hidden synergistic purpose... and be a wayshower of BEING...how it can become natural. I do not wish to be self obsessed but as I focus on my own self mastery... Guide others how to do so for themselves also.
My greatest attraction is that of my service to others and assistance of their personal mastery alongside my own. I see the gift of Versatility in everyone and am very very conscious of the shadows that create Indifference amungst those who are intimidated by me or put off by my shadow of Chaos. I personally have line 4 of the 16th Gene Key in my own cellular 'complex' and that goes into the Frigidity/Romance that radiates from me and will help others UnderStand me on more quantum levels.
The pure intentions of my heart however is that of Self Mastery. My IQ is the 18th I Ching representing the Siddhi of Perfection- I hold and extend the gift of Integrity and yes my challenge is the shadow of judgement however my focus is that of Line 6 of this I Ching to us my Objective Mind. I do not wish to be perceived as being judgmental and aggressive of violent when my intentions are pure of heart, compassion, and unconditional love for EVOLUTION and Universal LOVE. I am here to radiate my heart frequency of the 47th Gene Key that being the Siddhi of Transfiguration and the gift of Transmutation. I often have to face and challenge the shadow archetypes of Oppression but my primary focus will be on Line 4 of this I Ching and that is displaying FRIGIDLY the polarity and behavior difference between kindness and meanness and being a mirror/reflector of such polarities (and often i will reflect how one is abusive towards themselves energetically with not being in integrity with their own expression of word...and how it is themselves continuing manifesting it in their auric field until they see how they 'chose' this and need to create a new pattern of programming in the cellular template.
After my messages of stepping into BOUNDLESSNESS are received by others (of course my PEARL being my greatest challenge also in "waiting for the right moment" as this I ching deeply describes I must do... and thus... I sit here...waiting to extend a grand gesture of grace to my beloveds who also wish to step into the Siddhi of Impeccability I AM with me for this brings a great gift of precision to my innovated and creative rebel Ideas. my own intellect and that of others... or beliefs in "stupidity" will be my greatest challenge.
However in Culture and society i bring the Siddhi of Celebration and along with that my message and gift of detachment. However the shadow and challenge to be consciously aware of within this will be revolved around expectation of my own or others... this is the 42nd Key and I work within line 5 of Society of this I Ching.
These are the puzzle piece's of Divinity WE ALL ARE that I bring to the dinner table to share with my culture and community I personally have influence over. Overall my PEARL... my Higher Self Trinity of my Divinity... is that of the #3... Pure Innocence and always ready to dance and play like that of a Holy Grail Trinity Child (and that comes with a little Chaos... and a few tantrums...)
Yes i have had much difficulty getting to where I am... but it is just the beginning and in no way will I play a victim any longer. I will dance but I won't stoop to a level way low my vibration and argue about technicalities there. I can see my life and behaviors and actions and for the first time unconditionally love myself and extend myself compassion, humility, forgiveness, and grace... through knowing and trusting, allowing myself to surrender to my I AM and that of Divine Will brings great Peace into my heart so that i CAN fulfill my purpose...and that is of just simply ... BEING... allowing naturalness of the master I AM... to unfold. Trust it... and find Delight in every occasion no matter how low frequency of vibration I am faced with... I will be the #3 of Creation... creativity... always bringing with me a little Chaos but overall a pure Siddhi frequency of ecstasy and gift of delight to others... however I can often fall into the shadow of seriousness and have to untangle myself from such predicaments.

We can learn a lot of things from the character traits and physical qualities of puffins. This can be very insightful in teaching us and giving us a lot of information.
Understanding parental abandonment. [I have been journeying this in regards to the abandonment of my mother and many others ive felt have done this... it is very much part of the "sacred wound" i am unraveling]
Lifetime mating. [Found my True Twin Malachi who is a catalyst to this sacred wound healing and i am also the catalyst to his]
Longevity.
Childhood ability to thrive in darkness.
Those who have puffin as their animal totem usually understand the parental abandonment. Puffins usually leave their young ones to dive to a far away part of the ocean to get for them some small fish food. This teaches us the feeling that a child has when they are abandoned by the parent. We also learn the relationship of a child and a parent and its impact to us. Children who have good relationship with their children tend to grow up well and courageous as compared to those who are occasionally abandoned by the parents. Most parents today tend to focus on their career and they neglect their responsibility as parents to their children. They have little time for their family.
If you have the puffin power, you will want to have a lifetime partner or mate just as the puffin that encourages lifetime mating. Partners are very important not only for procreation but also for companionship. Those who don’t have partners tend to live a lonely life.
Those with the puffin power tend to live for a very long time. Their life is well lived and enjoyed because they have their partners for companion and their children that they work hard to provide for. They therefore live for a long period of time.
Puffins are also known to be the penguin of the North because they majorly occupy the Northern part of the hemisphere. We should be identified by our background and where we come from.
You should consider calling the puffin power in your life as a spirit guide especially when you feel that the relationship between you and your children or your parents is not getting better.
